Red Rum was one of the most loved and recognized racehorses of all time.  He was a three-time champion of the Grand National steeplechase competition and the only horse to win the competition back to back. 

Incredibly, this horse not only suffered from a bone disease throughout his lifetime that would have typically been considered career ending, he won this third Grand National title, 25 lengths ahead of the competition, at the age of 12!  That win is widely regarded as the greatest moment in horse racing history.   

The astounding story behind this amazing horse overcoming odds, from underdog to world champion, deserves to be commemorated in a set that matches his strength and determination.
